Gaming with Class: The Psalmist

So, years ago, I picked up a copy of Green Ronin's "Mythic Vistas: Testament", a d20 setting for the Old Testament of the Bible.  I had a lot of fun with it at the time. With my preference for simpler rule sets, however, I thought I'd make use of the book's Open Game Content to convert my favorite class over to Swords and Wizardry, white box edition. This is the first time I've built a class for it, so suggestions are welcome.

The Psalmist

I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.” -- Psalm 101:1

Divine poets and musicians, the Minstrels lead the Temple in praise. In the wilderlands, Adventurer-Psalmists empower their brethren through Psalms, chanted prayer and praise. Any Psalmist who acts against their deity’s alignment invokes that deity’s wrath. Struck dumb, they lose both the ability to cast spells, and the ability to speak. Only a quest in atonement to their deity will lift this curse.

Class Features
Hit Dice: d6
Weapon and Armor Restrictions: Daggers, staves and slings only. No armor.
Prime Requisite: Charisma: Psalmists with a Charisma of 15 or higher receive a 10% bonus to Experience, rather than the default 5%.
Saving Throw: Psalmists receive a +2 to Saves vs Spells
Psalms: Once per day, a Psalmist may sing a particular psalm (listed below), gaining any and all benefits of said psalm.
Selah: Once per day a Psalmist may partake in a brief meditative pause lasting one combat turn. Upon completion, the Psalmist reflects on a cast spell, regaining the use of that spell for a later time. Spells recalled during Selah may only be held until the end of the day.
Psalmist’s Circle: Starting at level 5, a Psalmist may gather together a number of individuals of the same alignment as the Psalmist’s deity equal to the Psalmist’s level plus the Psalmist's Charisma Modifier. Praises lasting 5 minutes are sung, and, at the end of the five minutes, all individuals (excluding the Psalmist) gain the benefit of a +2 bonus to attacks and saves for 3 rounds plus one round per the Psalmist’s Charisma bonus.

Spells and Psalms

Psalm of Fortification: All individuals of the same alignment as the Psalmist within a 15 foot radius (including the Psalmist) receive a -1[+1] bonus to Armor Class. This protection lasts three rounds plus one round per point of the Psalmist’s Charisma modifier. A Psalmist must spend a melee attack each round reciting the psalm or it expires.
Psalm of Healing: All individuals of the same alignment as the Psalmist (including the Psalmist) within 20 feet recover a number of hit points per round equal to the Psalmist’s Charisma modifier for two rounds. A Psalmist must spend a melee attack each round reciting the psalm or it expires.
Psalm of Swift Travel: All individuals of the same alignment as the Psalmist (including the Psalmist) within a 30 foot radius receive a 10 foot per round bonus to their movement. This bonus lasts for 4 rounds, plus one round per point of the Psalmist’s Charisma modifier. A Psalmist must spend a melee attack each round reciting the psalm or it expires.
Psalm of the Blade: All individuals of the same alignment as the Psalmist within a 10 foot radius treat their weapons as magical. Should the individuals already possess magical items, the bonus to these weapons increases by +1 for two rounds plus one per point of the Psalmist’s Charisma Modifier. A Psalmist must spend a melee attack each round reciting the psalm or it expires.
